Grandma Florence called me in the summer to plan a family portrait over Thanksgiving weekend after seeing some of my photos from Baker Beach. Florence had such a endearing personal story about crossing the Golden Gate Bridge when she was a girl and it just made our photo shoot all that much more special. We had a lot of fun during our shoot and I just love when adults get silly (note the family of four laying on each other). Best of all, Maisie and Will are too cute together. Look at that snuggle- priceless!

Giovanna & Dante ~ Presidio
I have a special place in my heart for these adorable siblings, Giovanna and Dante. I’ve known them since Giovanna was a teeny tot and it’s a pleasure to watch these kiddos grow up. And I am in love with how Giovanna shows her love and affection for her family in each and every photo.
Emi ~ Palace of Fine Arts
Emi’s joy bubbled over during our photo shoot. She danced, explored and snuggled her parents while smiling the entire time. Such a doll!
Marcus & Ava ~ Palace of Fine Arts
I have known Marcus and his family since he and my daughter were a mere five weeks old and I think of these kiddos as my own. It was such a pleasure to photograph this beautiful family and in a mere 20-minute-shoot given the blustery winds and 40-degree weather. I look forward to watching them grow up…but not too fast!
Ari & Ava ~ Crissy Field
I have photographed this family for years now and the kiddos continue to dazzle me with their smiles and sweet personalities. Sarah loves for me to capture candid moments and you can really see the love and adoration this family has for each other.
Maddie & Zach ~ Palace of Fine Arts
I love photographing older kiddos because they’ve just got such personality and they say the funniest things. These two are hilarious in that they have the typical big sister/lil brother relationship. One minute they’re driving each other crazy and the next minute they’re so sweet. And of course there was lots of wrestling during our photo shoot. So fun!
Grace, Claire & Molly ~ Crissy Field
Three balls of tulle and three gorgeous girls is the perfect combination. I even want to frame one of these to put in my home. Precious!
Sofia & Juliet ~ Palace of Fine Arts
Can I just start off by saying that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Casey’s outfit color scheme for the family?! If I could get my own daughter in anything other than Hello Kitty and pink, I would choose outfits like these. Secondly, could her daughters be more adorable?!? Nope. That about sums it up. Love these little girls!
Blaise, Victoria & Vivian ~ The Presidio
It’s always a party with this fun bunch! I photographed Baby Vivian when she was only a few weeks old and it’s been such a pleasure to watch these kiddos grow in the past year. And look at all those cheeky smiles they gave me- adorable!
Josie ~ The Presidio
Josie is such a big girl now, she even dressed herself for her family photo shoot and she made sure her little doll was in the photos with her. I love this path in the Presidio as it’s such a gorgeous backdrop. You don’t even feel like you’re in an urban environment with the Presidio as your backyard.
