Leslie Mills is a portrait photographer specializing in families, newborns, corporate head shots and high school seniors in the bay area. She captures those precious moments, when a family is laughing together or when a child hugs a parent, a moment that should be cherished for a lifetime.
I can’t believe it’s been six months since I photographed Baby Henry as a newborn. Now, he’s a smiling, gurgling, happy little guy with tons of personality. And those sparkling blue eyes! I can’t wait for our big one year session when we get to smash a birthday cake and venture out to a gorgeous San Francisco venue like Baker Beach or Golden Gate Park.
I have waited for this little bundle of joy for sooooo long. Finally, Annabelle is born and joins her big sister Lilianna for her very first photo shoot. She is so alert for being only two weeks old but she also cozied up for a quick nap during our session. I just love her delicate little hands and feet and oh my goodness, she has the longest eyelashes! Such a fun afternoon.
As I look back on 2012, I am so grateful for my family, friends and the beautiful city we call home. I’ve had such a blast photographing families and kiddos at Crissy Field, Baker Beach, Palace of Fine Arts and throughout Golden Gate Park. And anyone who says it’s too cold to play at the beach in December has not had the experience of taking three boys to a beach. Even I got down in the sand and took off my shoes!
